Contact Lenses At 20/20 Eyecare we fit all types of contact lenses including Acuvue Oasys, Ciba Dailies and Freshlook coloured lenses. As with frames and lenses, as an independent optician we are free to choose from any contact lens supplier and will fit lenses according to your individual needs. We won’t tie you in to a direct debit scheme so part-time lens wearers won’t end up with a stockpile of lenses. Contact Lens Trial If you are thinking of having contact lenses we can arrange a contact lens trial for you. At your first appointment we will check your suitability for lenses and explain the options available and their costs. If you decide to go ahead we will provide trial lenses for you to take away and try and book a further appointment to check the fit and comfort of these lenses. Our staff are happy to spend as much time as necessary to ensure that you are happy with the lenses and are confident to put them in and out yourself at home.

Contact Lens Aftercare Contact lens wearers need regular aftercare appointments to ensure continuing fit and comfort of their lenses and to check on the health of the cornea (the clear window at the front of the eye). You must also have regular checks to be able to continue to order contact lenses to your specification; at 20/20 Eyecare we will remind you when your aftercare appointment is due. Coloured Contact Lenses Want to change the colour of your eyes with contact lenses?  We can order coloured lenses (with or without prescription) for you. This requires a contact lens trial appointment and regular aftercare appointments just like ordinary prescription lenses.
