Contact lenses provide a great alternative to glasses and here at 20/20 we fit all types and brands of contact lenses. As an independent optician we are free to choose any contact lens supplier and will fit lenses according to your individual needs

With recent developments in technology, there are now lenses available to suit most prescriptions and lifestyles. So whether you want to wear lenses all the time or just for sports and holidays, there is probably a contact lens for you!

Contact Lens Scheme

With everyone watching the pennies, our contact lens scheme provides excellent value for money. Whether you are a dedicated full time wearer or only wear your lenses 70% of the time we are sure there is a lens package to suit you.

Each package includes lenses at prices which compare favourably with internet lens providers and include sight test and contact lens aftercare fees. Payment is made monthly, helping to spread the cost and should you need extra lenses these are supplied at the scheme rates, again saving you money.

Contact Lens Trial

Thinking of having lenses? We can arrange a contact lens trial for you. At your first contact lens trial appointment (different from an sight test appointment!) we will check your suitability for lenses and explain the options available and their costs.

If you decide to go ahead we will teach you how to insert, remove and care for your lenses (done at your own pace) and give you trial lenses to take away. A further appointment is then booked to check the fit and comfort of the lenses.

Our staff are happy to spend as much time as necessary to ensure that you are comfortable with the lenses and are confident to put them in and take them out yourself at home.

Contact Lens Aftercare

Wearers need regular aftercare appointments to ensure continuing fit and comfort of their lenses and to check the health of the eye. For some wearers this is annually, for others it is more frequent.

In order for 20/20 Eyecare to remain within the laws and regulations governing the supply of contact lenses, it is essential that customers attend regularly to keep their sight test and contact lens aftercare up to date. Failure to comply with this will result in us not being able to supply you with lenses.
